I used to use Norton clean sweep to clean the registry but it would take for every to scan and then after it was done it was still using up lots of my CPU or was not clearing itself right because I have to reboot. Plus after using the cleaner you get used to it and your learn most of the things it cleans are the same things over and over. Norton I think may even delete the plug-in.īut there is nothing wrong so by adding it to the exclude list it will not show up in the scan so I do not have to worry about deleting it. Well when it is on it renames the plug-in npswf32.dll to so any cleaner wanted to fix it by deleting it from the registry. ![]() I have a batch file to kill my flash so I do not have to see any flash at web sites. I also like how you can add to a list what to exclude to the scan in reg seeker because things will show up that I know are ok and they will always come up in any reg scanner and even norton disk doctor. I did things by the code code so the deletes were in groups and then took so many days doing the cleaning to see if anything would get screwed up and if so it would be more easy to try and find out just what one of the cleaning jobs I did was the one I needed to restore. Yea I was scared at first when I started using a reg clearner and it was reg seeker i used first.
